Looking for a way to skip the stairs, but don’t want a stairlift? The Savaria Luma lift is beautifully designed two-stop lift that travels through a simple floor cut-out so no shaftway is needed. The self-supporting rail system makes the Luma lift incredibly flexible for placement – you don’t need a support wall.  Its space-saving design only requires a 38" by 47" footprint.

2. Ceiling trim and car top cap

Installation requires a simple floor cut-out, that is trimmed with our included kit. The top landing is capped off as the lift descends.

6. Easy operation

The illuminated push-to-run buttons are easy to use. The frame includes a built-in call button.

7. Full-sized door with handrail

With full acrylic panels, door interlock, and a sturdy handrail, the door maintains your safety at all times.

8. Recessed lighting

An elegant system in the door and cab panels adds beauty and interior visibility for the cabin.

9. Non-skid floor & sloped entrance

Aesthetically pleasing non-skid material is used on the cabin floor. There is no need for a ramp or pit with the built-in sloped entrance eliminating tripping hazards.

10. Remote controls

Two radio-frequency remote controls are included to allow you to call the lift remotely.

11. Optional two-door model

Add a second door for straight-through access. A great option to accommodate your floorplan needs, or for easier access with a walker or rollator.

Safety

At Savaria, we take safety seriously. It’s one of our company values. That’s why the Savaria Luma lift was built to meet all safety code standards in every market where it’s sold. The Luma has an array of safety features including:

  • Emergency stop and alarm buttons
  • Sensors to stop the lift in either direction, if it encounters any obstruction
  • Overspeed arrestor system, ensures the lift never travels to exceed the appropriate speed
  • Door interlock keeps the door locked when the lift is in use

One Touch Alert
A simple push button on the operating panel of the lift places a call to a pre-programmed emergency contact list. This provides easy two-way communications. This feature requires an owner-supplied prepaid nano SIM card installed by the local dealer.

Savaria Link Wi-Fi Monitoring
Using your household wi-fi system, your Luma lift operation can be monitored by the installing dealer remotely. The dealer is notified of major faults allowing for faster troubleshooting if needed.


Installation

The Savaria Luma lift is usually delivered to your home mostly pre-assembled by your dealer. A typical installation will take 1 to 2 days including time to make sure you are comfortable with all the features and operation of your lift.

Process

process step 1

STEP 1
We’ll put you in touch with the closest authorized Savaria Luma lift dealer.

STEP 2
Your Savaria dealer will do a site visit and discuss the best placement for your Luma lift.  The dealer will provide you a quotation for the lift including the installation.

process step 3

STEP 3
A general contractor (via the homeowner, or Savaria dealer) typically prepares the site including floor/ceiling reinforcement. If an electrical outlet is required to be closer to the lift, an electrician will need to perform this work. The Savaria dealer will then install the lift, which typically takes 1 to 2 days.

STEP 4
The dealer will show you how to use your Luma lift, answer any questions you have and will tidy all site work in your home.
